The 3rd Annual Danny Simmons Memorial Tournament

We welcome you all to once again celebrate the memory of Danny's 60 years of dedication to Judo and the community. 

As with each year our tournament has been run, it is a fun and friendly filled day. 

Please note below important information for the day:

You are able to purchase competitor admission online through our website (and pay) or pay on the day. $20 Entry per competitor and Spectators are free.. If you wish to register before the date please select the register button on our website and add in your competitors name, belt colour, age and club.

Coupons will be available to purchase for our sausage sizzle, cake stall, coffee, tea and soft drinks. 

Please park in the allocated parking areas.

Weigh ins on the day will have set times allocated as shown below.

All competitors please provide your JFA registration card or a letter from your coach is a registration card has not yet been received. 

White judogis are all that are necessary on the day as blue sash's will be provided. 

The Australian Sports Commission Code of Conduct will be adhered to. 

Tournament committee reserves the right to combine divisions within the specified weight allowance to accommodate all entries. 

Dojo Rules apply to both players and spectators:

Shoes must be worn when not on the mat area

All cuts, scratches and wounds must be covered before competing

Any known injuries must be brought to the attention of the tournament committee prior to the competition

Judogis must be clean

The disposal of any rubbish you have is greatly appreciated.

First aid is supplied.

Mons (U9 years)

Weigh in: 8.30-9.00am

Eligibility: Must turn 6,7 or 8 in 2018

Novice: White Yellow, White Yellow Black Tip

Graded: Yellow, Yellow Black Tip, Yellow Orange, Yellow Orange Black Tip

Weight Divisions:

Boys and Girls: U21kg, U24 kg, U30kg, U35kg, U40kg, O40kg

Junior Boys and Junior Girls (U12 years)

Weigh In: 9.30-10.00am

Eligibility: Must turn 9, 10 or 11 in 2018

Novice: White Yellow, White Yellow Black Tip

Graded: Yellow, Yellow Black Tip, Yellow Orange, Yellow Orange Black Tip

Graded: orange, Orange Black Tip, Orange Green, Orange Green Black Tip, Green, Green Black Tip

Weight Divisions:

Boys: U27kg, U30kg, U34kg, U38kg, U42kg, U46kg, U50kg, O50kg

Girls: U29kg, U32kg, U36kg, U40kg, U44kg, U52kg, O52kg

Senior Boys and Girls 

Weigh In: 10.30-11.00am

Eligibility: Must turn 12,13 or 14 years in 2018

Novice: White Yellow, White Yellow Black Tip

Graded: Yellow, Yellow Black Tip, Yellow Orange, Yellow Orange Black Tip

Graded: Orange and Above

Boys: U36kg, U40kg, U45kg, U50kg, U55kg, U60kg, U66kg and O66kg
